ABOUT ME

My name is Michelle and Pilar is my middle name.
I have four kids. Three boys and a lone girl who desperately wants a sister. Our family isn't so little anymore. They are growing up into those next phases of childhood and its a wild ride. We love to be outside, hike, camp, mountain bike, exercise, and just be together.
. I am a DIY kinda person and a die hard thrifter.I love to create. Crocheting is on top of my list along with photography, videography, thrifting, sewing, re-purposing, and so on and so forth
I love to be active. I love indoor and outdoor sports but Running is my first and forever love. I complete my first Sprint triathlon in August 2016 and might be hooked on that distance of a triathlon. Tucker started as a baseball player.. turned runner.. now Triathlete. It is an exciting sport to watch. And we love to support him. Luckily he taught me some of the ropes.

Some of my background story:
I got pregnant and then married, my senior year in high school. Definitely not the easy way. It's been a long road, but with amazing support,  hard work, and commitment we've made a happy life. And married 10 years now. insane stuff! That experience definitely has molded me into who I am today. The good, and the bad. Though it was the hardest thing I've ever done, I don't regret my decision.

I found your blog from a headband post on pinterest. I was surprised by the name of your blog because I grew up in Botkins, Ohio which was named after a guy with the last name Botkin who founded the little village.

There is not much here, a few churches, bar, grain elevator, railroad track and school. If you are ever traveling through Ohio on I 75 stop by. It will only take a few minutes to see the whole thing.

How do you do the flowers on the white headband

Kgerken.. hopefully you see this.. I couldn't find a way to contact you directly. The white flower headband: I cut a strip of the bottom of the shirt which was hemmed.. and it was already frayed a bit. and I just rolled it wround and kind of tried to flatten it as I went. Just hot gluing as I went. Hope this helps ! :)
