Mother's Day

Thank you Tucker, Beck, and Arli for making me a Mother.

They are the ones I should thank this Mother's Day.
They are spoiling me with love and little preschool gifts and Tucker and the kids made me a special breakfast in bed. And while they spoil me.. I can't help but think.. oh you little ones!! Thank YOU! I should be celebrating YOU, because they are what makes my motherhood. A quite glorious motherhood might I add.

cutest gift ever from Beck. I will keep it forever. Even the bag.

I sat next to Beck on the couch this morning as he excitedly gave me his present.. I could NOT help but just take a moment. My sweet little Beck is the one who made me a mother. It was unexpected and the circumstances were not in "my plan" but oh my goodness. He came at the right time. He knew, my Heavenly Father knew. I couldn't wait to be a mother.. and I became one sooner than most, but I also think I was ready. I feel blessed that I was able to carry him and deliever him. At the time, I did not realize the huge blessing it was just to have my own children. My sweet Beck. His tan face, big brown eyes, his cute plump lips. Sigh. That kid made me a mama and it's something I'll treasure forever. And of course Arli fulfilled my dream of having a mini-me, future best friend, darling little girl. I am so blessed to raise these two kids. They are so different from each other. Polar opposites actually. And they each teach me so much. Thank you for being patient with me, a mother who is still learning.

Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers. And especially to my own Mother who is the ultimate example of what a mother should be. Forever grateful for her love, friendship, help, example, and faith.
And Happy Mothers Day to all those who have yet to become a mother. You too have a role in motherhood! To my best friend, my sister- Happy Mothers Day. You have helped me with my kids more than you know and teach them so many things. You have a huge role in their lives. And you are there to help me when I need it most. I love you!

p.s. Can I just say.. one of the best things about mothers day is the primary singing!! And my sweet stud muffin Beck up there singing with em! I was so proud of that boy.
